Limited edition collector’s series surfboards highlighting Heroes that forever changed the face of our sport. Back in the day, it was all about style.
Larry Bertlemann, the Titan of Torque, the Sultan of Swivel, the “Rubberman”. Larry Bertlemann was the quintessential pioneer of New School surfing. “Anything is Possible” was the mantra he adopted into his mind bending, space aged approach to wave riding. Being an avid skateboarder, Bertlemann brought skateboarding to the water. Visualizing street based maneuvers and adapting them into wave riding was his forte. His skate influenced wave improvisation was a functional mix of low gravity high-g cutbacks, 360’s and switch stance surfing. Larry Bertlemann changed the way we ride waves. His 6’0 Santa Cruz twin fin model is the epitome of blending the old with the new. A skate influenced contemporary version of the board he rode in the 80’s.
