We’re happy to introduce The Ryde to our Becker World. The Ryde was born in Laguna Beach, CA in 2002 when Matt Allen and Mike Figueroa joined forces in an effort to rid the action sports industry of tired logo based designs. Clearly they were on to something since those same companies followed suit and now also take an increasingly art based approach in their t-shirt lines.

According to their site, The Ryde clothing is an outward expression of the way Matt and Mike view the world around them. The ideas that make them laugh and smile manifest themselves in their designs. It seems that The Ryde’s clothing caters to good-humored, laid-back individuals which is just fine with the guys as that’s what they strive to be. We’re down with that, too, as their designs reflect a spirit that’s tuned in and not sold out.

Of course, interests shift around with each passing year, but The Ryde is dedicated to making t-shirts that capture the feeling of being a surfer, the joy of living the beach lifestyle, passion for art, and love of all the things that bring a smile to faces.
