Becker Surfboards, one of the original surfboard builders and surf shops in the South Bay, will be the main sponsor this year at the 3rd stop of the annual South Bay Surf Series, to be held Saturday, March 9th, 7am-5pm, at 26th St. in Manhattan Beach. Last year’s event had well over 200 contestants surfing, in addition to the hundreds of attendees that came throughout the day. There will once again be board demos, raffles, food, drink and an assortment of beach activities open to all in attendance, contestants and non-contestants alike.

The South Bay Surf Series is a six-event series of contests meant to bring the stoke to the tight knit South Bay community of surfers and beach goers. Along with Becker, additional sponsors include: Billabong, XCEL, Sector 9, South Bay Toyota, Von Zipper, Kustom, Air Pacific, Dakine, and Watermans Restaurant.
