Lately, surfing has been inspiring the coolest Lego creations. And why not? These famous colorful plastic bricks and mini-figures promote so much creativity and inspiration that all of Legoland’s five Lego-themed theme parks around the world all receive approximately 1.4 million visitors per year or more.
We’ve spotted some pretty rad surf Lego designs online, and are really digging the different creations.
One of the more popular Lego creations is called “A Weekend at Surfers Cove” designed by 14-year old Eli, who hails from New South Wales, Australia, and has spent approximately 20 hours of building it.
“A Weekend at Surfers Cove” creates the perfect surf spot, with an endless barreling Lego wave (and a peak simulated at 12 feet high) breaking in a sand beach. While the rider enjoys the surf line, his friends cheer him on and hang clothes and grill fish, at the surf camp.
Eli has also included a beach shack, sofas, sunbathers on towels, a camp fire, garbage, flowers, gardens, bicycles and even a rock pool.
