The world’s best Stand Up Paddle surfers were in Huntington Beach, CA last week to compete in The Stand Up World Tour, with Antoine Delpero of France finishing in first place on Saturday.
Established in 2009, The Stand Up World Tour was created to address the exponential growth in the sport of Stand Up Paddling, and to provide its premier athletes with an international platform on which to compete for the prestigious and official World Championship Title. The goal of creating the Stand Up World Tour has been to showcase the sport, its heritage and development, together with its athletes and their collective and colorful stories to the world. The Stand Up World Tour shows now reach 220 countries on 170 networks.
